The Fall Schedule

I think the weather has finally broken. What a brutal summer we've had. So many days spent in a hot tent marveling at the crowds showing up to purchase one of a kind wares in such heat. You guys rock!!!! I'm starting to get quite the following. Love seeing each and every one of you, thanks.
The summer shows are done but the fall lineup is just beginning. It's kind of a light season for me except for the One Of A Kind show at the Mart. I'm trying to spend more time with my father who's getting up there in age but is very healthy. I've planned a number of trips home throughout fall and winter. I've also planned a long (deserved) weekend vacation with my husband. Really looking forward to seeing the mountains again.

Here are a few travel photos taken yesterday on my way back from Indiana and Ohio. I'm fond of roadtrips and I just love the midwest.

Glenwood Ave Arts Fest

Can't believe it's the middle of August already. I've had a wonderful run of shows this summer. It did get pretty hot for some of them but this weekend is going to be very nice. I'll be in the Glenwood Ave Arts Fest booth #48. This is such a nice show AND it's in my neighborhood, Rogers Park. I've tried to stock up on everything but still can't seem to catch up with inventory so stop by early for the best picks.

Next week, I'll be in the Bucktown Arts Fest booth #159. It'll be my first year in this show and I'm really looking forward to it. A lot of excellent artists and a good crowd of art collectors. Let's hope this beautiful weather continues.

I have a new fall and winter schedule coming up soon. If you plan on ordering holiday gifts this year please plan and order ahead. I get overwhelmed the closer we get and I don't want to disappoint anyone.

Just a few pics from the Evanston Lakeshore Show. I think I had the best view of the lake and lagoon.

Thanks again for all your support of my work and I hope to see you soon!

Art Fair Season

I'm in full swing with the summer art fairs. Pensacola was wonderful. The museum people couldn't have taken better care of us. I got to use my new tent and it even held up to a tornado near by. I thought for sure I was going to return on Sunday and there wouldn't be anything left. I also took advantage of being on the Gulf and had my family meet me there. We stayed in a wonderful condo on the beach . I really relaxed for once. If anyone would like the contact info for the condo just shoot me an email. It was very affordable and oh, so perfect!
Last weekend I did the 57th Street Art Festival in Hyde Park. I've decided if I ever have to move from Rogers Park I'd go to Hyde Park. Such a great mix of peoples. The weather was absolutely perfect and the fair itself was top notch. A lot of very good artists at this show. I was honored to be among them.

Next, tomorrow I'll be at the Andersonville Midsommer Fest on Clark. My booth #305 is right in the middle of the fair near Starbucks (thank goodness). It's going to be a hot one so have plenty of sunscreen, a hat and a cold one in hand. I have a lot of new images since last year's Midsommer Fest so come by and see me.

A new season of shows has begun.  My tiles are in the Urban Folk Circuit first ever pop-up show. The event is at Architectural Revolution, 3226 N. Clark St. in Chicago. There are 30 artists/crafters featured between April 11th to the 22nd.
Plenty of time for some shopping.

Before I get to the upcoming line up of shows I would like to remind people I have a new website with a store so you won't miss out if you can't make a show or if I run out of a certain item www.stellalily.com.
